This week we had friends over for a playdate. Caleb and his friend Nathan (also 4) made up a song/game together that went "1-2-3- Gotcha!" And as they sang that together they would clap hands and then hug at the end. They did this about 10 times and then Caleb stopped and said very frankly, "Nathan, before we do this again, I just have to tell you that I have a really bad cold." And then they continued their game, picking up where they left off.
(In fact Caleb does NOT have a bad cold, but he has had a cough for awhile now.) Ha!
